Introducing ROH, the Future of Hospitality

Today marks an exciting evolution in our business’s lifecycle as we announce the launch of ROH, the first purpose-built revenue optimization platform for hospitality groups.

I’m proud of the progress we’ve made over the last few years as we’ve developed our software into a dynamic and essential proptech solution provider. And, I’m even more excited for what’s to come as ROH takes center stage, enabling hospitality brands to take informed actions that materially impact the bottom line.

Over the past decade, the work we’ve accomplished under the Carats & Cake brand has facilitated strong, trusted relationships with thousands of top innovators in the hospitality industry, from select service hotels to luxury properties and all the vital businesses in between. Our work with these businesses was eye-opening as we learned first-hand the pain points they face. Those relationships motivated us to work diligently to develop solutions to solve these unique, industry-specific challenges. Carats & Cake unlocked massive opportunities for us — proving the capability of the software platform we set out to create. To date, our revenue optimization platform — now known as ROH — has already delivered significant results:

As we look to the future, ROH provides us with the ability to speak to a broader audience. With this expanded mission, we are investing deeply in building more and more solutions to address the needs of asset owners, property operators, and hotel brands as they seek efficiencies across marketing, sales, and finance as well as access to real-time intelligence to rapidly improve conversion rates.

The term ROH (pronounced ‘row’) is a nod to the industry term “Run of House.” We were inspired by hearing countless properties talk about “Run of House” as they referenced ways they looked to maximize revenue. We chose this name because it’s industry-specific and respected, yet allows us to grow and define ourselves through our growing slate of solutions. Further, it represents our ambitious goal to power the future of hospitality.

Carats & Cake has opened countless doors for our growing team and we’re grateful to the brand we’ve built. We will continue to engage Carats & Cake’s 100 million strong audience, as well as the vibrant community of businesses on the site. It will further serve as a marketing channel for our wedding-focused property partners. From this point forward, Carats & Cake will be a sub-brand of ROH.
